Our monthly ongoing picket of Planned Parenthood's Medford facility continues. We will notify pro-lifers of the exact date each month via email. The picket time is 10 am. We have plenty of signs, and feel free to make your own.

Current picket information: There is an ongoing once a month picket of the Medford, Oregon Planned Parenthood facility between 10 am, on a date that is distributed via email. The location is 8th & Central, and signs are available at that location. We have plenty of signs, large and small, so just show up!
The national Planned Parenthood organization receives 1/3 of its budget from federal tax dollars. But, many people don't realize that Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon receives 97% of its funding from tax dollars at all levels!
Background: Our monthly picket of Planned Parenthood began in February 2010 in Ashland. At that time, we were protesting the distribution of the chemical abortifacient RU-486. In addition to being an abortifacient, RU-486 poses life-threatening health risks that Planned Parenthood does not disclose. There is no question that the easy availability of RU-486 in a college town increases the number of abortions committed in Jackson County. We know that accessibility is a key to abortion numbers, and RU-486 is easily accessible. As a result, Jackson County Right to Life chose the Ashland PPF Clinic as its initial picket location.
